#78 Peregrine Falcon
*One of the world’s most admired and studied birds, the Peregrine Falcon, whose name means “wanderer,” is found on every continent except Antarctica and in nearly every landscape. It’s also at home in cities, nesting on bridges and skyscrapers. Peregrines hunt a wide variety of birds, striking at high speed from tall perches. Once nearly wiped out by DDT, they rebounded after conservation efforts and a ban on the pesticide.
All embroidered bird patches have an iron-on backing, but the adhesive is temporary. For durability, we recommend sewing or using a permanent, flexible fabric glue.
A small, detailed bird patch made for adding a bit of the natural world to everyday things. Sew it onto a favorite jacket, tuck it onto a backpack, or use it to mend and keep something well-loved in use a little longer.
Perfect for nature lovers, young explorers, and anyone who enjoys small, meaningful details inspired by the outdoors.
