Comstock Publishing
Founded in 1893 by Cornell professors John Henry Comstock and Simon Henry Gage, Comstock Publishing Associates provided textbooks and popular works to Cornell students interested in natural science. In 1938, Comstock Publishing merged with Cornell University Press and in the decades since has carried on its rich legacy of publishing in life sciences and natural history. Today, Comstock Publishing Associates is an imprint of Cornell University Press publishing books for both the academic and non-academic audience in the fields of science, nature, and the environment.
