Dallas Lore Sharp

Dallas Lore Sharp was an American author, naturalist and university professor (1870-1929).  He was born In Cumberland County, New Jersey, graduated from Brown University, and served as a Methodist Episcopal minister for four years.  He was a father of four sons, an assistant librarian, and assistant professor of English, and professor at Boston University.  He became known for his charming magazine articles on native birds and small mammals, and his seasonal books are still enjoyed today by many nature and homeschoolers as part of their natural history curriculum.
