This example features Jean-Honoré Fragonard's 'Young Girl Reading'.

Jean-Honoré Fragonard was a French artist, known for his prolific work and in particular the painting Jeroboam Sacrificing to the Golden Calf (1752), which led him to become prominent within the Rococo movement. His work was often playful, erotic or celebrated domesticity. In this painting, Fragonard has spent a long time perfecting the detail in the girl's focused expression and uses looser brush strokes for her dress.
