#29 California Quail
*California Quails are richly-patterned, round birds that can be found hurrying across clearings in brushy areas of California and the Northwest. Their most distinctive feature is their comma-shaped head plume, which is actually a cluster of six overlapping feathers. California's state bird, they avoid mountains and stick to the coast and valleys.
All embroidered bird patches have an iron-on backing, but the adhesive is temporary. For durability, we recommend sewing or using a permanent, flexible fabric glue.
A small, detailed bird patch made for adding a bit of the natural world to everyday things. Sew it onto a favorite jacket, tuck it onto a backpack, or use it to mend and keep something well-loved in use a little longer.
Perfect for nature lovers, young explorers, and anyone who enjoys small, meaningful details inspired by the outdoors.
