Outside, the world turns to white and three children and a dog build a snowman, throw snowballs and explore the frozen expanses.

"Walter de la Mare's quiet poem, Snow, about the emptiness of a white landscape, has contrasting illustrations by Carolina Rabei full of the busyness of Christmas, depicted in nostalgic screen prints with a limited, muted palette. The storytelling is in the pictures, the words a background, like snow falling outside a festive room. "-- Sunday Times
